Turn On, Boot Up, Trip Out…

The ‘Google Cardboard” Viewer and #HackThePlanet App open a VR portal into an immersive parallel universe inspired by the Anniversarys of cyberpunk composer Simon Boswell (Ashens & The Quest For The Game Child, Burn:Cycle, Drug Bust Doody) and the geek cult classic movie Hackers.

Experience for the first time a new Lo-Fi and dirty #HackThePlanet redux track by Revenge of Calculon & Simon Boswell. This electro mind-melting experience uses early experimental samples and code, that never made it into Simons Hackers EDM soundtrack, and recently discovered on a yellow PsychFi floppy disc.

Take the #HackThePlanet virtual pill and boot up into a 360 retro-mania mash up. Catch flashbacks of counter-culture Futique pioneer Timothy Leary and watch out for pop culture glitches with some of Simons YouTube creator collaborations including Ashens, Mr Weebl & Lee Hardcastle.

A bonus element to #HackThePlanet is the option to live sync your own fave track. At start just spot the second flashing PsychFi Pirate and play your track, please do share your top picks on social media. #HackThePlanet #PsychFi

Pros and cons of #HackThePlanet VR Cardboard app for iPhone and iPad

#HackThePlanet VR Cardboard app good for

Love this demo! got a little dizzy (yay!) just wish there was a bit more interactivity or was a bit longer, keep up the great hacking folks!
This game is a prime example of what VR games are meant to do: immerse the audience in an alternate virtual realm... A basic app thats easy to enjoy (no controls to mess with) which pulls you from reality and instantly transports the viewer to a digital world which moves very fluently with little effort. Most other "VR" games and apps make feeble attempts to recreate "lifelike" environments with poor success. With the limitation of the running hardware (smartphones), its difficult to recreate an alternate reality which often times suffer from poor graphics, lag issues, poor controls, and various other issues which take away from the element of virtual reality. With eye popping colors and trippy visuals which move seemlessly with the wearers goggles, I found it very effortless to allow myself to enjoy the virtual experience!! One of the best out there!! Also check out "square pusher star eiglass". Another fantastic VR ride similar to this one! Note to devs: keep cranking these out!! Love em!!
Cool fly-thru of an old PC, a TRON-like world of glowing blocks and a universe of floating scientific equations, all to a thumping techno soundtrack.

Some bad moments

Wow, what fun! Cruising through Pentium era motherboards all the while listening to some rocking tunes! What could be better?
Ive been downloading every VR app I can, but Ive seen nothing like this. I thought I was there.
I watched it twice in a row and seen things I missed the first time.
To say this is MIND BLOWING is a huge understatement. This "trip" will grab you by both ears and make you its VR Bi%*! Ive had this now for a few months am still amazed by the detail and awesome clarity. The head tracking is super smooth and the progression timing glides like ice. Im even running this on an iPhone 5 with iOS 8.4.1 installed! This psychedelic experience is an epic example of Virtual Reality and its ability to transport you to an entirely different realm altogether… all from the comfort of your own toilet. Or chair. Get It Now!
Loved this so much that I wont delete it right away like most other VR apps. Nice and trippy. More like this please.
